On a chilly but dry Saturday in January, forty brave teams took on the Clueless in Cambridge challenge.

Each team had to complete tasks at bases around the city, follow a treasure hunt around the centre, crack number codes and photograph unusual combinations of object together!

Locals and tourists were intrigued by some of the activities, particularly the gathering of all 200 participants on Christ’s Pieces at lunchtime.

The event was the first in a series across Girlguiding Anglia celebrating the Senior Section Spectacular. It was organised by members of The Senior Section from Girlguiding Cambridgeshire East and Girlguiding Cambridgeshire West.

Grace, aged 15, from 1st Newmarket Rangers said she’d wanted to take part in the event so she could spend more time with the other girls from her Ranger group. Her favourite parts of the day were the egg challenge and discovering new parts of the city.

The winning teams:

1st Barton Rangers 1st Place - 1st Barton Rangers

Newnham Senior Section 2nd Place - Newnham Senior Section

Orange Is The New Snack 3rd Place - Orange is the New Snack
