I'm passionate about giving young people opportunities and self-belief to develop life skills and reach their full potential. It's amazing to watch girls grow and achieve their goals, which can be as simple as learning to tie a shoelace or light a candle to overcoming a fear of public speaking to navigating her way around a foreign country. Girlguiding endorses this by being open to all girls, regardless of race, disability, sexual orientation, religion and age. Giving them a safe and inclusive space in which they are encouraged to take the lead and make decisions.

None of this is possible without the dedication and support of volunteers, and considerable investment is required to ensure these volunteers are suitable trained and adequately equipped to provide a varied and active programme. Fundraising is essential to continue to invest in the future of our girls to enable them to get involved in their communities, grow in confidence, reach their full potential and have fun doing so.

The trip is entirely paid for, everything raised will go directly to Girlguiding. Thank you for supporting me.
